The Mighty Mite MM2903 Stratocaster replacement neck is constructed of bird's eye maple with a maple fingerboard fitted with 22 medium frets. The guitar neck has been given an oil-based finish.
Since the 1970's Mighty Mite has manufactured custom and replacement guitar parts for luthiers, repairmen, and guitarists who can't wait to hot-rod their axe.
The neck is great for the price I only had two minor issues with it. First the fret ends could be finished better. They stick out a little and are a little sharp. That said a few minutes witha fret file and they are perfect. The other issue I had was the tuner holes were drilled bigger than I would have liked. That said the Fender American Standard tuners I put on the neck worked out fine. The neck has a nice finish, fit in the body perfectly, and plays great. You cant go wrong for the price.
This is actually a very nice looking and feeling neck. Unfortunately, it is the standard C profile and not the V as described, which was what I wanted. I would also point out that it is not a 1 piece neck, as most maple necks. If you like the C it is a very nice feeling neck.
