We bought three Mighty Bright Duet lights for use in a pit band for a musical show. The older plug in lights produced so much light it was distracting to the audience and performers. The Mighty Bright Duets provided plenty of light on the music with a lot less distraction. The light was bright enough even for our vintage players. Two were clipped to stands, but one was sitting on top of an upright piano with the battery case as the base and lights shining on the music. The consensus was that we would order enough more to replace all of the older stand lights for next year?s show.
These lights are great! Very durable and bright! They are perfect for road gigs and home studios. The best part about them, is that they use common AAA batteries instead of watch batteries. I have several of these lights and will continue to purchase them!
I received this lamp as a Christmas gift last year. The other lamp I received is an electric lamp. The electric lamp is very bright, but a tad too much, plus I have to plug it in.
This dual lamp is super. I have at least 10 hrs of use on it, and it still is going strong. Even using one side, I have enough light to see both pages of music.
The light is a clean soft illumination, and not overbearing.
I am giving them as gifts to my band mates for Christmas. So should you.
