It has a 34" scale length for perfect string tension and a Fishman MKAB acoustic bass-optimized amplification system. Like no other!

I own the Michael Kelly Club Custom Electric-Acoustic Bass and I have loved it from the moment I picked it up in the store. The tone is sweet, it is easy to play and it is the perfect compliment to any song. I have 3 electric basses and I was looking for something different to add some richness and texture to some of our mellow numbers. This bass does that and more. I am finding myself writing music just for this bass! Not only is this bass beautiful (the mahogany is gorgeous) but it delivers quality sound that you would expect from a bass twice the price. I played several basses in the store and there was never a second when I considered buying any other electric/acoustic. For a bass player on a budget, this bass gives you a great value and a nice full sound.

AWESOME!

Michael Kelly is the sweetest acoustic bass ever! It's so perfect! It's got great tone and it sounds great when it's hooked up to your amp! And it's really fun to play with when your outdoors with your friends playing all acoustic. If you ever have to play an all acoustic song with a band, this acoustic bass is definately the one to use!

Just bought one

I played an Ernie Ball Stingray for a few years in a band and really grew accustomed to that rich, punchy sound. I don't play shows anymore and I sold some of my gear (including my speaker cabinet). So I decided it was time to buy an Acoustic/Electric Bass. I didn't know how often I was going to plug it in, so I wanted to make sure my choice would be nice and loud . I had heard from a friend that in order to get great sound I'd have to spend $1,000+. Fortunately, he was wrong. I came across the Michael Kelly Club Custom 4-String Acoustic/Electric Bass. From the moment I picked it up, I knew I had found something special. This bass is just what I needed to rejunivate my passion for the bass guitar.
