Great isolation of outside noise and high Db's, but seem real heavy and my ear must be real small, because it keeps getting lost inside the big liquid filled cup-things...(That gets uncomfortable after 1/2 hour of playing)...Very nice haveing the metronome built inside headphones, and seems like very good construction too..Overall, happy with purchase...
I've had these headphones for quite some time now, and it's been doing its job protecting my ears. I'm a drummer, and this really takes a lot of volume out. The volume of the metronome can be adjusted so I can hear it while I play. The problem with this is that sometimes it hurts my ears because it is too heavy. It's also kind of expensive, but it's still a great product and I'd recommend buying it.
These headphones do a great job blocking out live acoustics; however, I have had two pairs fail. After using the first pair for a few years, the headphones stopped working properly, the audio cutting in and out. I called the company, and they were nice enough to send me another pair, which ended up eventually failing as well. Again, the headphones stopped working. Another problem, which I saw another reviewer comment on, is that they get pretty uncomfortable after about 30 mins of use. I would recommend trying another product, as I would not purchase another pair of metrophones.
