The second book of Mel Bay's Modern Guitar Method is an exceptionally well-organized and easy to understand guidebook to furthering your basic music theory knowledge and music reading skills. It's full of interesting and catchy music from many styles and is a great learning aid to any guitar student. It's much longer than the first book, and is quite a bit more challenging to get through, but you will enjoy using it.
