The Meinl Snare Bongo Cajon can be played like bongos, between the legs, or on your lap. It is constructed of Siam oak and is compact and lightweight for easy transport and playability. It has high-pitched and low-pitched sides with snare wires secured to each of the inner sides of their playing surfaces for sizzle effects. This snare bongo cajon is excellent. It has 2 bongo sounds and a snare sound. It was a bit pricey for me but it was worth it. It is difficult but you could also make your own snare bongo cajon from youtube videos if you want to save the extra money. I recommend this meinl cajon. It is made of very good material and has great sound.
This bongo cajon has a very unique acoustic sound, its light weight, and is perfect for a jam session with a acoustic guitar! The sound this instrument produces is phenomenal!!!!!
I bought this for his birthday and he loves it ... So does his wife because now he and I can pratice outside on his or my deck and well.... as you can see its small and a lot simpler to load out than a full size or even a practice drum kit. Also it looks nice & has a well done finsh that should stand up to normal abuse.
