This cymbal's medium to heavyweight boosts its volume, providing the perfect crash for heavier rock and metal styles.

Meinl's Mb20 series was created for one reason--high volume. The weights are all on the heavier side for that reason. But anyone can make a loud crash cymbal. The Mb20 series' magic is that they are still musical and they feel good to play. The cymbals are handmade in Turkey using the traditional B20 bronze alloy and then the polishing process is performed in Germany. The finish is a super brilliant finish--perfect for stage lights, and Meinl has a special two-step buffing process.

  • Warning! Not for those who like having ears.

    Like the other reviewing I got a 18 inch at Christmas and have played a show with it. This this is loud and perfect for eighth or quarter notes in a song. Has a nice trashy kind of darker sound, at least for mine. Very good and Im looking to buy a 17 or 16 inch soon.

    If you want to be heard over everything than this is the cymbal you want. I bought an 18" at Christmas time and have played several shows with it and it has yet to disappoint. Great tone, great attack with moderate decay. I Love it.
