With technically advanced lathing and an improved bell design.

The MCS Cymbal Pack with Free Filter China contains 14" medium hi-hats, a 16" medium crash, a 20" medium ride, plus a FREE Filter China. They are all specially harmonically matched for the most musical sound.

Created with the B8 alloy of 92 percent copper, 8 percent tin (plus traces of silver) for bright, rich, laser-clear sound quality.

The Free 14" Filter China cymbal provides a fast, sharp, and almost sinister sound. Quieter than most Chinas, it has a short sustain due to the waved edge.

New within the MCS cymbals family is the new and improved ride cymbal bell. Most remarkably, a new look is achieved due to a capillary fine lathing process that sets the bell apart from the rest of the cymbal's surface. This highly technical lathing process results in a clearer and more projecting bell sound.

A deep lathing groove is applied on to the cymbal's surface, remarkably reducing its thickness and weight. This results in a quicker response and enables the sound to unfold much easier. Along with precise hammering patterns, the new MCS cymbals set the standard in this price range.

Meinl MCS Cymbal Pack with Free Filter China Features:

  • 20" medium ride
  • 14" medium hi-hats
  • 16" medium crash
  • FREE 14" Filter China

These Cymbals are great. The china is good and the hi-hats sounds great. i like the ride but the bell is kinda weak.

NEW REVIEW - Amazing Sound and Durability!

I have had this pack for about 2 months now and I am very satisfied with them. I play very rough on my cymbals and if your a rough player you don't have to worry these won't break on you anytime soon. The only thing is the Filter China sounds its just a Traditional China is much more durable and the sound is much better from a Traditional China. So 5/5

Good for starters

first off, i hated the ride, it had way too much ring on it, but the crash was good, and the hi hats had a nice chick sound. i didnt like the china but its free so i dont mind. however my friend liked the way it sounded so i guess its all in what you think sounds good.
