Fiberglass has long been used for conga shells because of its durability and resistance to climate changes. Drums crafted from fiberglass offer a full spectrum of brilliant sound.
Each Meinl conga drum in this set boasts a hand-selected buffalo head, 8mm strong tuning lugs, original Meinl-style tuning brackets, 2mm rounded rim, and black powdercoated hardware. The bongos feature a solid wood-block connection.
