Meinl HCS hi-hat cymbals are versatile, medium-weight hats with a warm, clean sound and an articulate, open hi-hat effect.
My son recently got his first real drum set off of the internet. A cheapy beginner set CB I think. He has been playing them for about 6 months now, and his Hi-Hat finally wore out, flimsy thing that it was. We went online to look up pricing for a new set of Sabians (he saw some at his instructor's), and found these Meinl's pretty inexpensive (comparatively). We stopped in at the store but they didn't stock them. Only online. So we ordered a pair and they arrived within a few days. It is amazing the difference between these and the old pair he had. And they call these cheap? Humph! If these are cheap quality, then the top of the line sets must be made of gold and play themselves! Awesome, sturdy hit-hat at an even more awesome price!

These are great Hi-Hats especially for the price. They have a great sound and they feel really strong. I have the 13" and I have no complaints. Since these are great, I bet the ride and crash by Meinl have to sound just as great. I plan on getting them.

This cymbal may be inexpensive, but it has a good sound. However, don't be deceived by the picture. It isn't shiny. It's SUPER shiny! It also has a great bell sound.

These are amazing hi-hats i got them with my meinl hcs starter cymbals pack, my favorite cymbal has got to be the hi-hats. These are very inexpensive but give off GREAT sound. I have played zildjian, paiste, and sabian hi hats and the meinl hats give just a good of sound for a lot less. So do your self a favor and save some money and get these hi-hats.
