The Meinl Ergo-Shape Pedal Cajon has two special features: a patented ergonomic curved frontplate and a specially designed foot pedal that adjusts the snare wires during play.

Made from exotic African Bubinga wood, the cajon's ergonomically shaped frontplate has a slight curve (Ergo-Shape) that follows the natural contour of your hands for playing comfort. You'll find yourself playing longer thanks to the comfortable design.

A pedal attached to the bottom of the *cajon adjusts the amount of pressure used to press the snare wires against the front plate, changing the sound in real time as you play. The snare can also be turned off.

Like all Meinl cajons, the top corners are also adjustable for even more variety of sounds. Loosen it a louder slap sound or tighten it for a more subtle sound with less volume.

    Meinl Ergo-Shape Pedal Cajon is a good cajon. The slaps on it sound really good! the wood is well made and is assemble perfectly and it is of good quality. The only thing bad is the pedal. I bought this cajon about a year ago and the pedal after being used alot started to get a bit loose. Now it makes a weird sound when hitting it because the string inside the cajon are a bit loose. So in order to try to hide that metal sound you have to keep your feet on the pedal. Overall this cajon is a nice cajon to have and would be awsome if you take care of it and are careful with it.

    Nice cajon and a reasonably priced product from Meinl. Checked prices and Guitar Center was best choice, including a cajon case and the Kickport for cajon. Arrived within 3 weeks due to backorder. Love the variations possible with the snare control pedal. Do find it almost easier to move pedal with hand rather than foot due to location and fact that pedal seems a little fragile. No problems with it so far but will pay attention to pedal in future. Great sound. Definitely able to get multiple snare sounds and locations and snares completely off. Good top end and love the range when using the entire front plate. Product is recommended but see what you think of the pedal.
