The Meinl Medium Ride Cymbal has a balanced, controllable stick response with a defined ping and a blend of bright overtones. Warm basic sound with medium sustain and bell.

Amazing sound

I had ordered the cymbal as a christmas gift. I had never played on any meinl cymbal and I was very curious what this beautiful cymbal would sound like. This meduim ride is very well equiped to play any style of music. Rather it's a swing beat for jazz or and a hard rock hard hitting cymbal. I use it for rock mainly. I want a cymbal with short decay and a great crash characteristics and this cymbal has exeeded my expectaions. Perfect crash/ride as well.

Incredible

I've never played a meinl cymbol before, I've only heard what they sound like and heard people say really good things about them. This cymbol exceeded my expectations. I use it for its low and extremely powerful crash sound, louder than anything I've ever heard. The power of the crash doesn't diminish the crisp and clear sound it produces either. The only problem is that none of my cymbols compare to this one at all, so now I have to throw them all out and order all meinls.
