Size isn't everything!

Comments about X Series 2015 LX1E Little Martin Acoustic-Electric:

I consider myself more of an "electric guitar" player then "acoustic". I have had acoustic guitars which have come and gone in my collection. I Recently got a bug to pick up a smaller acoustic to knock around with and found a used little Martin (LX1). When I got it I was so impressed with it I realized I could actually gig with it but my LX1 did not have a pick up in it. I found this guitar at Guitar Center and couldn't be happier. It sounds "big" for a small guitar, is a blast to play, I mean it is fun. The electronics work fine, has a built in tuner. And the guitar stays in tune. You would be surprised as I was. It is a cool little guitar.
Thanks.

    Comments about X Series 2015 LX1E Little Martin Acoustic-Electric:

I have an awesome sold body Martin that was getting picked up by pretty much anyone who walked into my dorm room. I promptly sent it home, and began searching for a cheaper acoustic I could play and not worry about. I've read that these can take a beating and judging by the specimen I received, they sound pretty good too! If you're looking for a solid guitar to hold up to the wear and tear of college life; look no further.

    Comments about X Series 2015 LX1E Little Martin Acoustic-Electric:

I use the product for playing songs like Ed Sheeran,Acoustic soul songs like All of me by John Legend and things like that but it works great for everything. It could have a great country tone as well. Overall its an amazing acoustic feels durable and sounds great. It isn't that much of a difference in tone when it comes to normal Martin guitars but it sounds a little bit smaller. A little more bottom end taken out but not a lot. The guitar is perfect for me and as long as you can deal with the size its a great choice. Many people label it as a travel guitar but Ed Sheeran is an example that it isn't much different. It works for everything and gets as loud as you need it too. It includes a tuner a button that says phase that adds more shimmering highs and a contour button that adds more bottom end. It also includes a volume knob all packed into the Fish man electronics. The battery pack is in the bottom of the guitar right next to the strap knob and the center of the strap nob is where a cable would go. The guitar is very light and the finish on it isn't normal lacquered finish. Its very thin but its a tougher less shiny coat. Its just as durable if not more durable but its thinner and not as smooth. I don't know what else to say besides the fact that its amazing.

    Comments about X Series 2015 LX1E Little Martin Acoustic-Electric:

I've owned this guitar for a few months and I have to say I love it. The sound quality is amazing! Even when plugged in it sound great, the pick ups are very simple to use, plus it has a built in tuner??. It's also great for travel! It comes with a VERY well made and thickly padded gig bag and its easy to carry thought the airport. Also it's small it enough to take as a carryon! One con, if you think it is, is the fact that the solid spruce top is not coated with anything so it will get dirty and scratched up.

    Phenomenal!

    Comments about X Series 2015 LX1E Little Martin Acoustic-Electric:

I love this guitar! Don't let its size fool you! It packs a punch when you plug it into a system and when you're just playing acoustically! Compared with my Baby Taylor, it definitely has a more balanced and more wholesome tone as with the Taylor's darker sound. I love both guitars, so it's hard to choose which is better. But I digress! This guitar is phenomenal! I'm an intermediate-advanced guitar player and I love this guitar compared to my others. Definitely worth the money, especially with the Fishman pick-up!

    Best sound for price range

    Comments about X Series 2015 LX1E Little Martin Acoustic-Electric:

For the amount of money that you pay for this axe, you can't ask for anything more. Martin has delivered a powerhouse of an instrument in their Little Martin model. They've crammed the mighty roar of a D-28 into a small body without sacrificing tone or quality or anything. DO NOT mistake this for merely an entry-level guitar. If you are on the market for an instrument with practicality but you do not wish to sacrifice quality, please do yourself a favor and buy this guitar. You will not regret it.

    Great guitar for beginners!

    Comments about X Series 2015 LX1E Little Martin Acoustic-Electric:

I was going to the US on holiday, and thought it would be a great opportunity to buy myself a good guitar. Saw Ed Sheeran playing with this guitar and just loved it, and fortunately for me, it's not expensive at all. Along with the presidents day sale I was able to order the guitar and have it shipped to the store so I could pick it right up when passing by. The guitar itself has a beautiful, warm sound, with much volume. Very powerful guitar for such a small one. The size is just perfect for traveling and doing small gigs along the way. It's just the ideal guitar for those laid back travelers. The fact that it's acoustic-electric makes it even better. Built in tuner and pickup from fishman are of amazing quality. The gigbag that comes along with the guitar is really nice. Use it all the time. I couldn't say anything negative about this guitar. It looks awesome, sounds awesome, and is so fun to play with. I have been playing for a little over a week now, and I am so hooked on this instrument!

    Comments about X Series 2015 LX1E Little Martin Acoustic-Electric:

my daughter just received a new little martin on 03-28-2013 for her birthday and i could not believe how good of a guitar it is! i have many guitars including a Martin D-28 and i was skeptical about getting a little martin for my daughter even though Ed Sheeran plays one and plays it very hard! All i have to say is wow what a well crafted guitar and a wonderful neck!! If you need more proof just go to youtube and watch Ed Sheeran play these Little Martin Guitars!! Ed is rough on them!! good luck

    Little Martin, Big Sound

    By Matt Martin

    from Kansas

    Comments about X Series 2015 LX1E Little Martin Acoustic-Electric:

I love my Little Martin. I got it for christmas this year and couldn't be happier. I have been playing full size acoustic guitars my whole life and after receiving this little guy, I never play my full size guitars. This is my main guitar, and after you hear the tone and sound it brings out, you will understand why. I have never played a full size martin before, so I may not be very credible. But this guitar is awesome. I will never go with another brand of guitar.

    amazing guitar !!

    Comments about X Series 2015 LX1E Little Martin Acoustic-Electric:

when i first was thinking about getting a guitar i didnt know what was a good type of wood style or size. but one of my favorite artist ed sheeran owns a little martin actually he has multiples so i figured this would be a great buy. which it was this guitar is perfect size the sound is that of a sound of a larger scale martin, i would never go with any other guitar once you play this guitar you never go back to decent guitars. the only thing that was a minor flaw was the input port for the amp became very loose if it does bring it to an expert and they will fix it for you. but overall best guitar ever... very rich deep tone =] and this guitar is great for all music genres. read the martin care book and take great care of your guitar by the way.
