Big, Beautiful sound from a small guitar

By Scott Whipple

from Aurora, Co

I have had my 000-28 for almost a year. I traded most of my other guitars for this one guitar. I had 12 string, one steel, and one nylon string guitar. Oh not to forget the Gibson Les Paul Custom and Fender Super Reverb amp. Now I have two acoustic Martins. Of the two I play the triple zero two eight way more. It has the sweetest sound when playing soft and a real strong sound when playing in a robust manner. It is a great acoustic blues guitar, very easy on the fingers. Add a pickup and amp and I am getting in the mood to go and play right now. I sit on the front porch and play all the time, next thing there is gross of kids sitting on the porch listening to the sweet sounds of this little baby. My neighbors say I am playing guitar better but I think it is the guitar and how sweet it sounds. I currently us Elixir 92/8 custom light Nanoweb strings. This is perfect for me.

000-28-A Real Standout

By Jon in Germany

from Heidelberg, Germany

I spent several days playing on a wall of guitars at the local custom shop comparing Martins, Gibsons, Taylors, et. al. and kept coming back to this one, not so much for the size of the sound but the quality. A very balanced, sweet tone and exceptional action and playability.

A great gutar! Plays with ease and has the bright sound that Eric Clapton seeks in his guitars. The most beautiful, rich sounding, highest quality guitar I have ever owned...and I have owned a few.

Martin 000-28

By customer

from Salem Massachusetts

I own a total of 5 Martin Guitars. A D12, D16, GCMMV, LXM and now the 000-28. By far the finest guitar I own. Action is fantastic! Sweet, smooth sound, Top quality finish, hardware and great looking. The size is perfect, easy to handle and very comfortable. Not an Eric Claptop but as close as it gets. Well worth the money. Truly a joy to play.
