Clear Crisp Bright Tone

By Flood

from Brooklyn, New York

Comments about Martin MSP7100 SP Lifespan Phosphor Bronze Light Acoustic Guitar Strings:

First time that I put these new versions of Martin Guitar Strings for my guitar for me. I always wanted to buy Cleartone Strings for my guitar. Luckily, there was a sale on these strings that uses Cleartone technology. I got for two for $20. The sound is bright, crisp and clear. It change the tone of my guitar compare to the Red Strings that I was using on this guitar.

The only strings for my Martin

By sheldon berger

from York

Comments about Martin MSP7100 SP Lifespan Phosphor Bronze Light Acoustic Guitar Strings:

These are the only strings I am happy with on my Martin, they also come stock with all Martins. At first I tried the cheaper Martin SP 80/20, they were dull on the light strings, not enough bottom end on lower strings and the volume was way down. After writing to Martin Owners association and learning these come on all stock Martins, I put them on and am very pleased. The volume is back, there is a crisper sound to the higher strings and a deeper base sound to the lower strings. These are the only strings I will buy for the Martin from here on out.

Martin tone for sure

By Elijah Gallegos

from San Antonio, TX

Comments about Martin MSP7100 SP Lifespan Phosphor Bronze Light Acoustic Guitar Strings:

PROS: After I restringed, I had a whole new outlook on my acoustic tone. It's much deeper than any D'Addario or Ernie string, with a consistent bright sound. If you have ever picked up a Martin guitar, half of the tone are these strings (they put these strings on all martin models now). I know these babies won't lose their tone in a week like D'Addario's. CONS: It's very annoying how Martin packages these strings. They pack the low E with the G, the A with the B, and the high E with the D. I caught myself putting the D string in the low E tuning peg, I was careless & didn't really read how they packaged it. So BEWAREEE!!! Other than that, these strings will give you a baby martin

Home Run Hitters

By Mack Lester

from Los Angeles, Ca

Comments about Martin MSP7100 SP Lifespan Phosphor Bronze Light Acoustic Guitar Strings:

You can't go wrong with these strings, they sound fantastic. I have had a set on my Takamine for about a month and they sound just like i put them on yesterday. They're relatively inexpensive compared to other coated strings. I play my Takamine everyday, so these strings get used, but they don't feel worn. At the price you can't lose! They sound just like Martin SP's, but they last over 2 times as long. In the long run these strings will save you money (If you're really worried about cost) Try them you won't be dissapointed.

Good, but don't last long

By Alex Nelson

from California

Comments about Martin MSP7100 SP Lifespan Phosphor Bronze Light Acoustic Guitar Strings:

These strings will make any guitar sound beautiful. I restrung my Martin with these and it sounded very nice again but even though it says lifespan, the good tone only lasted a week or two for me even though I always thoroughly wash my hands before I play and barely sweat.

Great Martin Tone

By Dana WHEELER

from Ashland, MA

Comments about Martin MSP7100 SP Lifespan Phosphor Bronze Light Acoustic Guitar Strings:

I found no tonal differences between the Lifespan and the uncoated Martin SP strings. I also have tried Elixir and D'Addario and I like the Lifespan strings better. I am not sure that they last as long as I had expected, but the probably last at least twice as long as standard strings. I usually plan with medium strings but I want to try the light strigs as they are easier to play and I am hoping that I won't loose too much volume with the lights. The lights also have the Marting tone.

Martin had a special. Buy two sets of their strings and get one free. Martin dealers were the contact. I bought on line from a Martin dealer and no third set of their strings. Explain.

            Great Sounding, Natural Feeling Strings

            By Mark Flemmer

            from Omaha, Nebraska

Comments about Martin MSP7100 SP Lifespan Phosphor Bronze Light Acoustic Guitar Strings:

These strings sound very nice & organic---they don't merely sound "good for coated strings". They sound and feel like regular strings, but last longer---the perfect combination. I recently started using these, and they're the only acoustic strings I'll use from now on.
