Great Baritone Ukulele strings.

Comments about Martin M630 Clear Flourocarbon Baritone Ukulele Strings:

I have three baritone ukuleles by different makers, two sound best with the Martin strings and one sounds better with D'Addario. Comparing the two brands in voice, the Martins sound more guitar like on a bari where the D'Addario sound more like standard ukulele. Another place the Martins shine is if you play classical guitar and have a string that broke or was cut too short for the guitar you can use it to replace a Martin bari uke string and it sounds perfect as they all have that Martin sound. If you are going to play guitar songs on the baritone I would definitely go with Martins. If you are more into the traditional ukulele sound but in DGBE then go to the other brands.

Sorry Martin

Comments about Martin M630 Clear Flourocarbon Baritone Ukulele Strings:

The D and G strings develop flat spots quickly, and the G string kinks and breaks at the frets in less than a month! My guess is because of its very light weight and composition of the wound wire, it cannot handle the pressure. I will not be using this product until they become more durable...

Comments about Martin M630 Clear Flourocarbon Baritone Ukulele Strings:

I had just bought my Baritone Ukulele and the strings were really wound and worn. These were the first strings i came across and i knew Martain is a realiable brand for strings. THey're great. Really comfortable and fun to play. I would Highly reccomend them.
