Warm, balanced sound

By Joel Brothers

from Crandall, a.

Comments about Martin M260 80/20 Bronze Ball-End Regular Tension Nylon Classic Guitar Strings:

These strings have a nice even balance on tone across all six strings. You can't tell which ones are wrapped just by listening, like you can with most nylons. The unwrapped strings do not sound "thunky" at all, and have a nice, clear resonance. The entire set is incredibly warm-sounding , with a nice "jazzy" feel. They do not feel like rubber bands, as most nylons do. The ball-ends make changing strings much easier. And you can't beat the price.

Comments about Martin M260 80/20 Bronze Ball-End Regular Tension Nylon Classic Guitar Strings:

These sound great. I don't care if stuffy classical players don't like ball-ends. But I'm so tired of spending an hour stringing my classical guitar. I see no reason to not get these going forward. These are less $$ than most and easy to put on. They don't feel cheap. I'm no tone expert and certainly not an expert player, but I have enjoyed these and never once felt like I had to compromise to get ball-ends. I wish more manufacturers made ball-end nylon strings.
