Comments about M170 80/20 Bronze Round Wound Extra Light Acoustic Guitar Strings - 4 Pack:

I've been playing for 10 years and have always used medium gauge strings. I started using extra light strings 2-3 years ago and I haven't switched back. I really like the bright tone that smaller gauge strings deliver. After using medium strings for so long, once I switched I found that lighter gauge strings are much easier to play on. Sure the guitar loses a bit of sustain but I don't like the muddy tone(It sounds muddy to me, but to each his own) larger gauge strings put out. I don't have problems with strings going out of tune like some people claim happen with lighter gauge strings. my guitar does have grover tuners though so maybe that helps. anyway I love these strings and will continue to buy them in the future
