Overview

A 14 fret, non-cutaway Dreadnought, the CS-D41-15 features a Sitka spruce top with Martin' Vintage Tone System (VTS). The East Indian rosewood back and sides beautifully showcase a unique ribbon inlay of cocobolo and flamed mahogany. This enticing inlay design is further enhanced with mother-of-pearl against an ebony background throughout the headplate and fingerboard. Flamed mahogany binding visually completes the CS-D41-15, making this limited edition model one that is both beautiful to the beholder and pleasing to the ear. Limited to a quantity of 115.

The new Martin Vintage Tone System (VTS) uses a unique recipe that is based on the historic torrefaction system. The VTS acts much like a time machine in which Martin can target certain time periods and age the top/braces to that era. This focused method allows Martin' craftsmen and women to recreate not only the pleasing visual aesthetics of a vintage guitar, but also reproduce the special tones previously reserved for vintage instruments.

Hardshell case included.

Comments about Martin Limited Edition Custom CS-D41-15 Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar:

This is a beautiful instrument. The more it's played the better it sounds. Classic Martin sound and looks. Top quality woods and construction. 1.75 nut is a must for older players - easy and precise for finger picking, strumming, and flat picking. If you can afford one buy one - you will not be disappointed. You may need to do a little nut and saddle adjusting but not much. Get your favorite strings and you're on your way.
