How does a 22 year old have a signature guitar already? Well, not only was the young singer-songwriter featured on Taylor Swift's mega-succesful Red album and as her opening act on her tour, but his own album, simply titled +, garnered two Brit Awards for Best British Male and British Breakthrough. It's top single, "The A Team" won him the Ivor Novello Award for Best Song Musically and Lyrically, as well as a Song of the Year Grammy nomination. He was also one of the writers behind One Direction's #1 "Little Things" and collaborator on their forthcoming album. He's already made it, and it doesn't look like he's slowing down. Neither should you. Pick up this special guitar today.

The signature edition brings out what's great about Ed!

Comments about Martin LX1E Ed Sheeran Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

This Little Martin is great. When playing this without an amp, it's extremely easy to play and projects really well. This guitar is slightly smaller in the neck than I expected, but that was ok, it's only a little over a yard, or one meter. I plugged this guitar into a practice amp for my Fender Squier and even without an acoustic amp this sounded amazing. I've only owned it for 2 days, but it's definitely worth the money. It comes with a gig bag which is really durable, but keeping it light for traveling and carrying. It is already strung with the SP Lifespan strings that really play well, and they make it sound like a full sized guitar. It also comes with the Isys T pickup with tuner by Fishman, which I think is perfect. It's very smooth and only has a little weight to it from the pickup. Overall I'm really happy with the product, so thank you Martin, Ed and Guitar Center for the awesome guitar (and the great price from the Columbus Day sale!) My only complaint would be I wish the Fishman Pickup would have more features, but it's fine with the Isys T.

A great product for a great cause!

Comments about Martin LX1E Ed Sheeran Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I recently picked this product up and it's been my favorite guitar since. I'm a huge Ed Sheeran fan and have been researching this guitar since it's release. Originally I was concerned that it would be too small, but it's the perfect size for me. For such a small guitar it has a great quality and sound which really surprise me. It's even better to know that 1/2 the proceeds from every guitar go to EACH. Definitely recommend to anyone who plays the guitar.

Signature Model is Great!

Comments about Martin LX1E Ed Sheeran Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

It hasn't come yet, but I know it's going to be great. Since it is a Martin (as well as something Ed Sheeran uses and helped make this model) I'm so excited to play it!

If you have to have Ed's guitar:

Comments about Martin LX1E Ed Sheeran Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I have both a Little Martin LX1 and the Ed Sheeran Signature. Both are great little guitars. The Ed Sheeran has a solid sapele top but it's etched, so they all look the same. HPL body, stratabond neck with ebony fingerboard, I think. Sounds great plugged in or unplugged: loud for a small guitar. Nice tone. The Ed Sheeran Signature is less bright and more balanced than the LX1 but both sound great. Comes with a nice Martin gig bag. Fun to play-makes it easy to want to practice although you can get in some bad habits on a small scale guitar (not stretching your hands out). The plug in has come loose and the wiring is sloppy. The guitar goes flat some when left untouched for even a day. It's a tad spendy for a 3/4 sized, but you're getting a Signature model. And it's a Martin. I will say this, if you don't need the plug-in, the Little Martin LX1 is a better guitar dollar for dollar (and the flat black is cooler looking in my opinion). Overall, this is a fun guitar but if I was not an Ed fan, I'd sell it-
