Overview

We collaborated with the Martin Custom Shop to create this model with solid Adirondack spruce--also known as red spruce--a prized tonewood that looms large in the Martin legacy. The top is braced with Sitka spruce in the D1, A-frame style. The back and sides of this dreadnought are constructed from solid mahogany. A built-in Fishman Gold+Plus Natural pickup and preamp system beautifully captures and amplifies the voice of this guitar for playing onstage.

This is one of the best guitars I have ever played. There are very few guitars that I have ever said "I have to get this guitar no matter what" that I have acually been able to dream about someday owning for myself. The moment I strummed the first E string I knew that it was going to be the next guitar that I purchased.the pick-up is the only thing I had any type of problem with. The higher pitches are alot higher than im used to but didnt sway my decision in my purchase.
