I bought this case for my Martin DCX1KE and it is perfect. It is very heavy, but it's all protection. The case is guranteed to keep your guitar safe. Mine was knocked down a flight of stairs and there is only one small scratch on the edge of the case. I'm not worried about my guitar's safety at all.

The case is well constructed, a bit heavy, but is very functional. Quality is not quite what I expected even for a low end product. There are only 3 latches and they have sharp edges which will scratch your hand and/or guitar. Am having to file down the sharp edges. However the 3 latches keep the case completely closed and will give good protection to the guitar. This is a low end good quality case, however considering the price, there should be more attention paid to the fine details.

Comments about Martin 345 Dreadnought Hardshell Guitar Case:

This is one of the cheapest quality cases you can get for the money. For 130 you can get an injection molded case that is fairly water resistant. This case came with my 1800 dollar martin and I'm pretty disappointed in the quality of it. Got caught in a small rain shower and walked maybe 50 feet uncovered from the bus to my apartment and my guitar was covered in water after. Not very rigid or sturdy enough for travel either.

the case fits that DRS1 like a Glove, Solid and Heavy. don't have to worry about the guitar if its in this case. the roof could cave in, and it would survive.

Comments about Martin 345 Dreadnought Hardshell Guitar Case:

This is a great quality Martin case. Very good construction for any lifestyle need. My Martin MMV dread fits perfectly and securely in this case. So secure, that when I drop the body of the guitar in I can feel the air from underneath pushing it's way out. What a fit! Getchoo one!

Comments about Martin 345 Dreadnought Hardshell Guitar Case:

It's a great case, nice quality. Not as deep as I would like it to be. I don't use it because I have another case that is deeper and will hold my iPad under the guitar without putting pressure on the guitar when closed. Other than that, great case.
