These are by far the best acoustic strings I've found. I've been playing out for over 6 years and these strings continue to impress. The sound quality is great and I can normally go 3-4 gigs with quality sound from 1 set of strings. My hands perspire quite a bit when playing and most other strings rust or break within a few weeks. Best acoustic strings out there.
I gotta say I was very impressed by these strings. I've used martin strings before, but these have by far been the best ones. They are so easy on your fingers, they slide smoothly, and they have a rich tone that is wonderful to the ear. I would recommend these to anyone. Great product.
These strings have an excellent bright sound to them. They're light enough to bend with reasonable ease, yet they don't sound wimpy by any means. They're worth the relatively high price, as I've noticed they tend to last a bit longer than most other strings
I got these strings as replacements for my Kramer D-100. These strings have a warm, rich tone, and an awesome bending capability. These strings are some of the best out there, and are great. These play great, and really last a looong time. Totally worth the price.
You can spend less on a set of acoustic guitar strings. But, you get what you pay for. You can VASTLY improve the sound of even a lower priced guitar simply by changing to these Martin 3100s. I'm just a "week-end warrior" so I don't need to change that often. What impresses me is the sound. Deeper lows & crisp, clean highs. A key word for strings now-a-days seems to be "sustain". They'll do it. 'Nuf said?
