The Martin OM-1GT Orchestra Acoustic Guitar is designed with Martin's legendary tone, craftsmanship and playability with extraordinary value. It features solid sapele spruce back and sides, a solid Sitka spruce top and is polished to a high gloss.

Tonally, the advanced "hybrid" scalloped X-bracing delivers a powerful punch – clear ringing treble and defined bass – unique to Martin's 1 Series guitars. Compared to a dreadnought, the OM-1GT Orchestra Model produces a tone that is brighter in the midrange, less deep in the bass with clear articulation in all positions.

  • A Martin for us regular folks

    This is a fantastic guitar at a great price. Martin really did right by us regular folks who want a great guitar, but live in the world of real jobs and paychecks. Don't let the Stratobond and Richlite turn you away from this guitar...Martin has really delivered something that sounds great for us normal folks by taking a chance on newer/non-traditional materials. Of course, we are talking about Martin here, so it probably wasn't chance. After owning it for awhile, I went back to GC and played several of the higher end Martins to do a comparison and see if I really got a good deal. I did...the Martin sound and quality are just as evident in the OM-1GT as in some of the higher end OMs. So, if you are like me and always dreamed of owning a Martin, now you can. Give it a play, you will love it.

  • Very Pleased

    I love this guitar. I took guitar lessons when I was a kid. That was 40 years ago. Stopped playing until now.I've always wanted to own a Martin and this is my first. I am definitely a beginner and am going to enjoy learning how to play on this guitar. It has a great tone and it feels really comfortable in my hands. And the case that comes with it is great.If you buy this guitar you won't be disappointed.The sales people were excellent at Plymouth Meeting.

    Oh my god this Martin guitar What can I say it's a Wonderful guitar can't stop playing it Having lots of fun with it and For the money it's well worth buying . Also having a piece of history and but of course made in the USA What more could you want Just remember always buy a Martin You will never be unhappy
