No More Backaches

This is a great guitar for anyone who travels via public transportation; no more bulky guitar cases. The tone resembles something akin to a Renaissance lute- like quality but sounds unique unto itself. Though it may seem awkward to play at first, especially if you're used to a full bodied instrument, this guitar is a great practice ax that you can bring anywhere and it weighs less than a textbook.

Martin Nylon String Backpacker Acoustic Guitar

Great size to sit around at night and practice. It feels good and has a good sound for its size. The only problem I have is keeping it in tune. I have to tune almost every string after only a day or two of rest. I have a steel string version of this same model and it stays in tune with only fine adjustments. Not sure if this is just a difference between the steel and nylon strings or something else. But I love them both. They have allowed me to practice more often.
