gorgeous sound

this may not be one of the higher end models with all the inlays and designs, but as far as sound quality goes, this is just as good. this guitar was definitely not one that immediately caught my eye but once I started playing I instantly fell in love with this guitar. definitely go for this if you are looking for amazing sound at a not so big price.

Perfect

My girlfriend wanted help picking out her first acoustic guitar. She's only 5'4" and she said the full on Dreadnaughts were too big and bulky for her. However, she still wanted a good sounding guitar with good volume. We went to two different Guitar Center's, American Music, Emerald City Guitars, and BestBuy in search of the best sounding guitar within her budget and just beyond, looking mostly at Martin's, Epiphone's, and Taylor's under 2 grand. In all those trips and hundreds of guitars later, this guitar came in second to my ears and the only one that beat it was a $1600 dollar Martin. The sound has the warm smooth bottom and midrange that Martin's are known for but where this guitar really seperates itself from the pack is on the top end. With just the stock strings, it's not overly sparkly but has a great bite to it that is very smooth and natural. Playing this guitar at home has produced many new ideas for songs simply because the sound is so intriguing and fluid that it inspires me to go in new directions beyond any other acoustic guitar I've ever played. I have a Martin DR which I love but I am very glad that this guitar is now in the house.

Small hands-love it!

I'm a new guitar player and I never realized how big a difference the right fit can make in a guitars playability. I tried learning on my husbands guitar which had a wider, deeper fret board. I was constantly frustrated by my inability to stretch my fingers enough to reach chords. I'm 5'1" for a point of reference. Barre chords? Forget it! I went out looking for a smaller guitar and found this Martin. The sound was beautifully warm and rich. I didn't have to turn the guitar up towards me in order to SEE the fret board. I fell in love and am still in love a year later. I still play almost everyday and I'm sure it is in part due to this wonderful instrument.
