When I first went to change my stock strings on my acoustic guitar, I was recommended Martin SPs. I first tried the lights which are great but the mediums give a fuller, deeper tone. I love the sound of them. Also, they are not impossible to bend and dont slice your fingers when you slide. Best strings on the market!!!!
I?ve tried many different stings for my acoustic and so far these ones have mad me the happiest. They put out the great high-leveled tone that I love from acoustics, The only real problem that I have had with these is that they need to be changed a lot if you don?t want them to get really gross looking/sounding. But if you can afford to keep buying new strings (its not that much, I do it) and love a great tone then these strings are perfect for you.
I have been playing for many years. I have had th eopportunity to use alot of different strings D' Addario to Fender. None Compare to the Martin SP series. Though they need to be changed a little more frequently, they always produce a great sound. I use them on a Ovation and whether I am plugged in or not they have a very balanced sound from the lows to the highs. Would not play any other strings on the acoustic or electric.
