  • Martin strings top of the line

    I had a partial set of polyweb extra lights on my new Guild guitar. When I say partial I mean I had cut the G string when snipping off the ends due to an awkward position I was in so I used the old G string. Then I got the Martin Extra Lights. What a difference they made in the tone and volume of the guitar. I get full sustain when sliding to and from the 12th fret in "Blackbird" by the Beatles. I love these strings. They bring out the best in my guitar.

  • Martin Extra light strings

    I have a Fender Acoustic and this is the first time I have changed strings on it since I purchased it. They are a lot easier to play than the ones that came on the guitar. Haven't used them long enough yet to tell about the longevity of them yet. I like em!

    Great strings for the price. I havent used many other extra light strings that sound better and last longer than these. They do produce a deeper bass than 80/20 strings (at least to me). Obviously, using 80/20 vs 85/15 vs phosphor bronze is all based on preference but I would recommend these strings to anyone who is looking for this type.
