The Bronze winding on the Martin M1700 Acoustic Guitar Strings are ideally suited for producing deep, rich basses and clear, bright trebles. Light. Gauges 12-16-25-32-42-54.
I usually change strings 24 - 48 hrs prior to ministry. I had always gone the cheap route for hard financial reasons. Sent my pastor to buy strings and the salesman talked him into Martins. I was not real happy but bucked up and paid the bill. I was unable to change the strings until just 3 hours prior to service. I tuned them once and then checked them just prior to service and they were still in tune (very minor tweaking on the B string.) Played great, sounded great and stayed in tune for quite a while. Needless to say, I was very happy then!! This is a continued experience with Martin strings. Recommend these hands down! Unless they are out, these are the only strings I buy for my guitars now.
