Designed by Martin's Field Sales Staff, The MC-DSM Acoustic Guitar is an optimum "M" cutaway studio performance instrument that combines back and sides of flamed Hawaiian koa with an Italian alpine spruce top, yielding powerful tone.

Limited to 100 guitars, enhancements on the Martin MC-DSM include forward-shifted scalloped bracing, a herringbone rosette, Waverly nickel tuning gears, a Geib style vintage case and ebony bindings. The fingerboard and headplate, also of black ebony, are graced respectively with Foden style inlays and Martin's script logo in select abalone.
