Martin Quality in a Tiny Package

The workmanship of this guitar is phenominal. If you are looking for Martin quality and workmanship for under $400, this is a GREAT deal. The onboard (active) Fishman electronics make this guitar sound like its big brothers, yet it is small enough to take along with you anywhere. A great addition to the "X" family!

Pricey, but very nice

I bought this guitar because I wasn?t really happy with the travel guitar I already had, the Yamaha travel guitar. The acoustic sound was horrible. I wasn?t interested in getting a small/child guitar because I thought it would be vulnerable to breaking escpecially when travelling. This guitar is not made of wood, but a lamenite much like formica so it is durable. Now that my worries of crushing the guitar were pushed a side I was wow?d by the big sound that comes from this little guitar. It?s very loud. The sound quality is good too. I was very impressed. I have short fingers so the short scale doesn?t bother me. It feels balanced on a strap and feels good to play. The only thing though is that if you are playing any frets higher than nine it will sound like a toy. One of the best things about this guitar is that it came with a really nice gig bag. The bag has a plush inside with a good amount of padding.

A Phenomonal Runt

Let me say first of all, that I personally dont own this guitar. A friend of mine lets me use it to perform live. Im not a small guy either, but the sound that is generated from this guitar is ridiculous. So many other people will stick to a Gibby or a Taylor, but Im telling you, if you have the means to afford an extraordinary guitar like this, by all means do it. You will not regret it. And to the creators of these Martin guitars, you are amazing, and we all look forward to more inspiring creations from you guys, much love. Jared
