What a Great Alternative

The Martin Guitar Stap Button is a great reliable alternative to tacky looking strings. It looks neat and compliments my Marquis Chestnut Bridle Guitar Strap and Martin D-15 Custom Guitar. What a combination of excellence. Thank you for having such high quality standards. Playing music has never been so enjoyable since I was introduced to the Martin Guitar Company products.

Martin does it again!

This thing is great. The Martin strap button allows you to use a strap with confidence. No more silly strings to tie and worry about. Also, after years of use, no marring to the guitar.

The only way to go on a Martin

I had a real problem drilling a hole in my Martin DSR, so I bought this number and it works perfectly, secure too! Don't ruin your high end acoustic and void the warranty! Get one of these and rest easy. I recommend a narrower light strap. It stays out of the way and stays relativly in balance while performing standing up.

Strength and Character

"Keep it safe, keep it strong, keep it Martin." The Martin guitar strap button is the perfect product for the guitar owner who wants to keep his investment original. The strap button is easy to use, safe against the neck of the guitar and provides the user with the confidence that the guitar won't drop. Having struggled with homemade devices in the past I can attest to the fact that the guitar button is superior. The Guitar strap button is professional constructed. What else would you expect from the Martin Name? If you want the look and the character of an ageless guitar product, then the Martin Guitar strap is and excellent choice.

Not for me, but could be for you...

I was looking into different methods for using a strap with my acoustic guitar, and didn't really want to put a hole in it so this seemed to be the perfect solution - a leather band from Martin that comes in multiple colors to accent and match your guitar. Turned out my guitar neck is more narrow than the guitar shown in the product picture, but that wasn't really much of a problem other than making it a little less eye appealing. The bigger problem was that my guitar strap wouldn't fit around the larger strap button that is provided on this band (it seems much wider than the average strap button already attached to guitars). Another strap I have barely fits and I'm not sure if I trust it to stay on. I'm also picky and like specific straps for specific guitars that I use, so for now at least, I'm going back to the "shoestring" method for this particular guitar.
