Superb

This guitar is far and away the best sounding acoustic I have ever heard with the exception of one other Martin model at $4,000 (making this a bargain!). It is expensive and you can only justify this if you play acoustic seriously rather than just as a background strummer. Everything on mine and every other Martin at this price I have seen is absolutely perfectly made, the frets are filed off so smoothly you barely feel them if you run your hand along the side of the neck. The one criticism I have is that there is only one strap button (on the bottom of the body), meaning that you have to strain the neck and go to the inconvenience of tying on straps if you want to play it standing, which is not exactly uncommon. I find the exclusion of this slightly snobby - just cause they do it on cheap guitars too doesn't mean it's a bad idea. They also need setting up properly, as the factory set ups vary considerably and are not generally quite right. Overall it's fantastic!
