A modern orchestra size guitar that's ready for the stage with a cutaway, slim neck and Fishman F1 electronics.

Martin's use of solid East Indian rosewood in the Custom Performer OMCPA4 Rosewood Orchestra Acoustic-Electric Guitar adds gorgeous tonal color and variety to its already full-sounding solid Sitka spruce top. This road-worthy model has a 14-fret cutaway for soloing. The fast and comfortable Performing Artist profile neck makes even long gigs or sessions a pleasure. Fishman's F1 Analog onboard electronics convey quality acoustic tones that excel both on stage and in studio. Other significant features include Hybrid "X" bracing usually found on more expensive models and a durable Black Richlite fingerboard.

Fishman's F1 Analog preamp system
The F1 Analog has 2 control knobs and one display. By pressing the volume button down for 2 seconds the tuner is activated. The innovative one-knob tone control lets you choose between a natural, undersaddle sound with no EQ (fully counter-clockwise) on up to a "mid- scooped" tone with emphasized treble & bass and reduced midrange. Pressing the tone knob repearedly cycles through various phase settings that improve bass response while aiming to suppress unwanted feedback. Includes case.

  • Incredible tones

As reviewed by Edward Seffens on 11/5/2012

I bought this guitar the other day base on tones. In comparison to other guitars around the same price range this model had the best tones while connected to the Fishman loudbox mini. I'm a tone purist with accoustic guitars and the tones I get from the amp are the same as the tones from the guitar with no change. Also with chorus and reverb set at zero. I think it has a lot to do with the onboard Fishman Electronics. Perfect match with the loudbox mini for sure! I never achieved this with the other guitars in comparison. Also, I like the looks, feel and playability with this guitar. I'll be gigging with this guitar a lot. I wanted a complete package!

What more can I say about this beautiful guitar with good looks good playability from beginner to advanced you will not be disappointed I am an intermediate player and I find myself playing for hours and the action is so perfect right out of the box the tone is excellent plugged in or unplugged this guitar is not too basey and not too trebly it's within that Goldylock zone he he, so if your looking for a great guitar Martin is the way to go and also made in the USA, So go to GC. and try one.

  • Incredible finishing, amazing sound

As reviewed by Cassiano Aimoli on 9/12/2013

This guitar is truly a gem: comfortable and slim arm, power acoustic sound. The hard case is stylish and, of course, fits the guitar perfectly. Made in USA.
