NEW REVIEW - Incredible Guitar

I've been playing guitar for about 2 years now and was looking for a serious upgrade from my seagull folk guitar. A guy recommended that I go and play the 1e and it was love at first sight. From the smell of the all wood body to the speed of the frets down to the great internal electronics provided by fishman -- this thing is incredible. Five stars by far/

money where it counts

this guitar sounds like a cannon going off. i was concerned initially because i had to order this and was unable to play it beforehand. once i realized i could decline accepting it if i was unhappy with it, i went ahead and placed the order. solid top, back, and sides for the price was too good a deal to pass up. neck is stratabond, which i didn't realize at first, but it makes no difference to me now that i own it. when you pick it up and play it, it feels like a Martin and sounds like one. They really put the value into the sound and body construction where it counts. i love this guitar and so does everyone i know that has played it.

Finally found what I was looking for!

I picked up this guitar 4 days ago and knew from the first strum that it would be leaving the store with me that day. I had been in the market for another acoustic to play on stage for a while and just hadn't found the sound that I was looking for. I played a lot of very expensive really high end guitars during my search and was blown away when I picked up my DC1E and started to play it. The tone is very warm and bright and it has great sustain. The set up was perfect right out of the box and I haven't had any issues when changing tunings with fret buzz or anything else. The matte finish on the guitar is beautiful and done very well. I did remove the pick guard though and I feel it has a much cleaner appearance. The Aero+ is a nice little unit and does a great job of sorting out lows, mids, and highs so I get exactly what I want when I plug in. I can't say enough about this guitar and how pleased I am with my purchase! Don't hesitate to pick one up!
