Constructed with a combination of highly compressed wood fibers (high-pressure laminate, HPL) and traditional tonewoods, the acoustic-electric 000CXE Black guitar has the famous Martin sound and playability found in their more expensive guitars. The Onboard Prefix Pro preamp system includes advanced feedback controls: brilliance control, notch filter and phase switch combined with a patented fliptop housing that enables the preamp chassis to pivot out of the guitar.

Great Value
For a Martin guitar, this is as reasonable as it gets to get that beautiful Martin acoustic-electric sound. The high end Martin acoustic-electrics can burn a hole in your pocket, much less curb your desire to play the thing lest you scratch it up. This guitar, on the other hand, begs to be picked up and put through the paces. The light weight, thin and stylish body feels comfortable when it's strapped on or when you place it in your lap. The moment your fingers lay on the low action strings and the just-the-right-thinness of a fretboard you'll see it's eminently playable and you won't put it down for hours. Now the sound deserves special mention: even un-amp'ed the acoustics are tremendous. But plugged in, the Fishman pro electric equalizer (settings for notch, phase, volume, base, middle, treble, and brilliance) can modify your sound for any occasion or genre! I cannot express how much of a joy it is to play this instrument! I'm going to stop typing now and go play it!

The guitar of a lifetime
I first saw this guitar played by a guy in a Bar. The sound was awsom and the looks was just incredible. When I saw it was a Martin, I Went to guitar center.com and looked at the prices. Wow !!! I want it. Then Ticket to the US, tried the Guitar, Loved it, bought it, Back in Tahiti and Lovin' it. Action is awsome, Acoustic Sound Really good, Plugged is Even Better. I recommend it Twice !!! Buy it twice juste in case you lose the first one !

Amazing in Everything!
This guitar is well worth the money! I traded in my two bass guitars and my srat for this baby. Boy, this guitar can do it all! The electronics are great on the guitar and its amazing unplugged too. The low action and fast-playing neck is what attracted me to the guitar, and it's looks!I recommend buying this guitar with all my life!

Its all Love.
This guitar plays really sweet. Its sound is so spectacular and of course, the fact that its a Martin is even better. This guitar is like an addiction. You really can't let it go. When I picked this up at the store and started playin it, I fell in love. I haven't stopped playing it since.

Love it!!
I bought this guitar from guitar center about 2 weeks ago and absolutely love it. Quality, Sound and looks are all there. And for the price, it can't get any better. Everytime I pick it up, I can't stop playing it. It's that good. The size is also really nice. I'm not a huge guy so the small body style is great for times when I'm playing it standing up. And I absolutely love the flat black color. It's an amazing guitar for the price.
