Such A Sweet Martin!

This guitar sounds so good! It is completely different from your standard spruce top dreadnought, but it is amazing to listen to. It's dark without being muddy, and not as boomy as a dreadnought. It's got Martin quality written all over it. I love the simplicity of the design. There is very little on this guitar that is meant to be flashy, just a beautiful wood (mahogany) and a beautiful sound.

Martin Tone and Quality at a Great Price!

This guitar features an auditorium body style, which is smaller than the typical dreadnaught acoustic guitar. The top wood is solid mahogany as are the sides and the single piece back that has no inlay. This guitar does not have any binding on the body or fingerboard. The body finish is satin and after awhile will shine from body oils. The sounds this guitar produces are incredible. With the use of mahogany wood for the top, this instrument provides a very warm sound with plenty of sustain. The low notes produced are excellent especially on the low E string. The high notes are clean and ring. The overall tone can range from warm to rich to full and bright. This guitar is an excellent choice for fingerstyle players though strummed chords sound very warm with great sustain. This guitar is an incredible value and I would highly recommend the Martin 000-15 to anyone.

I am an intermediate student and wanted a guitar to grow into. What a choice I made!! The 000-15 is warm and rich, without the brassy brightness of some of the larger Martins. This guitar is incredibly playable and the slightly smaller body size is so comfortable. This is one guitar I will not only grow with, but will never let go!

Breath of Heaven

This is definitely an amazing guitar! I've had it for several years and although I've had a problem breaking strings, I've since had the nut replaced and have had no problems since. It's amazing how much sound comes out of this little guitar. It has a small neck, which makes for easy maneuvering, and I simply love it! It's definitely not a guitar to beat on because you can only get so much sound from a small bodied guitar, but for slower songs especially it is wonderful!

Nifty Guitar

The wood is more likely Sapele than Mahogany. Sapele is a West African heart wood similar to mahogany but harder and with a marvelous cedar like smell. The resonance of this little guitar is incredible - very Martin. I have a 1960's Gibson which is so very different. I love them equally.
