Marshall MG100HDFXC Guitar Amp Head

Drawing on the vast experience of their design team, the Marshall MG100HDFXC amps are built to the same exacting standards as all Marshall products. Though compact in size, each one delivers a dynamic yet toneful punch, and they're all suitable for a wide variety of purposes including rehearsal, recording, and even live music work. The MG100DFX is a 2-channel amp head with special features such as FDD (Frequency Dependent Damping), CD ins, plus emulated line out, and emulated headphone jacks. It features digital effects including reverb, delay, chorus, and flange. With 100W, this is a fully gig-capable amp, and it retains all the features that make it great for practice, too.

MG412AC Cabinet

The 8-ohm, 120W MG412AC Angled Cabinet is loaded with 4 - 12" custom-voiced Marshall/Celestion speakers that really crank out that authentic Marshall tone. Consummately road-ready with reinforced corners, recessed and side bar handles. Cool white exterior.

Not Very Good

By Aaron Reason

from Rocky mount, NC

Comments about Marshall Limited Edition MG100HDFX and MG412A Half Stack White:

i got this amp about 5 months ago and its not very good at all the distortion is decent but not as much as i want. the clean is good but if you turn the clean channel up all the way and the master volume up to any more than .5 then it starts to get muddy. i play metal and screamo through a schecter c-1 hellraiser 2009 edition and this amp doesnt get the job done. i will soon be trading this thing in for a b-52 at-100 i tried one and its amazing i would reccomend looking that amp up.

dissappointing..

By Joe Shmoe

from Florida

Comments about Marshall Limited Edition MG100HDFX and MG412A Half Stack White:

I got this amp after hearing from many people about the "Insane Gain", only to find it had very little. Though the clean channel was very nice, it didnt make up for the lacking in the Dirty channles. I would recommend this amp for maybe Ozzy Style (Randy time frame) players and country rock stuff like that but definateley not Metal or anything requiring rock. I will never fall for another Marshall, ill stick with Peavey for Metal.

holy snoop d o double gizzle. this amp is for shizzle

Comments about Marshall Limited Edition MG100HDFX and MG412A Half Stack White:

When we were on tour with The Smiths in 1985 we own 34 marshall stacks and we carried them with us where ever we went. Until we stopped at a mcdonalds and morissey wouldnt let us take them in with us. So we obliged. Next thing we know they were stolen. So with very little cash left, we bought one of these suckers. it was like connecting my guitar to the nose of God and the sounds resembling the invasion of poland in 1944. GREATEST AMP EVER!!!

WOW!

By Xavier Fuentes

Comments about Marshall Limited Edition MG100HDFX and MG412A Half Stack White:

WOW! I just got this amp for christmas, And it's amazing! It just sounds like heaven, The clean tone is just fantastic! This amp can even make a cheap guitar sound like a $4000 guitar seriously, The distortion is good too, But it's nothing that special, Great for Beginners and Pro's! If you always wanted a half stack and could never afford one, This is the one! But makesure you test it out before you buy one, Because everyone has their own taste, Overall this product is highly reccommended! Get one before they're all gone!

Amazing Amplifier from Marshall!

By Randy319

from Stafford, Virginia

Comments about Marshall Limited Edition MG100HDFX and MG412A Half Stack White:

I recently recieved this amp for Christmas a few days ago and thought everything about it was amazing. When I plugged in my Fender Stratocaster, I could tell that there was a huge difference in the sound and tonal quality between this amp and my old Crate FXT120. This Marshall amp blew my Crate amp out of the water! The clean channel on this amp has a very clean, rich, and warm tone the sounds amazing with reverb. The distortion channel has that pure, ripping Marshall distortion quality that will blow you away! From power chords to pinch harmonics, everything sounds awesome! The FDD (Frequency Dependant Dampening) makes everything sound even more amazing. All the digital effects sound very nice with the distortion channel or the clean channel. I have played a Fender Stratocaster and a Gibson Les Paul Studio through this amp. They both sound amazing through this amp. I highly recommend this amp to anyone who is looking for that great Marshall quality at a good price.

My neighbors are still mad that i bought it

By New Anarchist

Comments about Marshall Limited Edition MG100HDFX and MG412A Half Stack White:

This is the best amp I've owned. I play in a punk band and this thing really can crank it out. It was hard for me to cough up 600 bucks but its worth every penny to be able to play this amp with a les paul on stage. I got one of my neighbors to move out it was so loud. SWEET!

This is my first half stack amp and I cant keep away from it. I play in a Christian rock band and this amp cranks out all the tone I need, and more than enough volume, It shakes the siding of my house.

A STEAL FOR 600 DOLLARS !!!!

By D. Zaccaria

from Pittsburgh

Comments about Marshall Limited Edition MG100HDFX and MG412A Half Stack White:

This amp is an all digital amp but you would never know the difference. It has a FDD switch "Frequency Dependent Damping". Switch this "PUPPY" on and the head mimic's the way an all-valve Marshall amp would sound like. I could not tell the difference! A very clean, warm, bright sounding amp on the clean channel. Switch over to one of two over drive channels and this thing just kicks you in the teeth! For the price this thing is a down right STEAL!!!!! Thats the head and slant back cab for $$$! It totaly blows any amp in this price range out of the water. Thank you Jim Marshall for making such an exceptional amp at an affordable price! If you ever wanted an Marshall half stack but could'nt afford one, go pick this one up NOW!!!
