The 1x12 Marshall MG101FX is a 100W combo amp with 4 programmable channels, awesome analog tone, adjustable FX, and more amazing features. Now at your disposal is a separate digital Delay, meaning that a total of 3 custom-voiced FX can be combined at once”Reverb, Modulation (Chorus/Phaser/Flanger), and Delay”creating near-endless FX possibilities. What's more, the Reverb and Delay FX decay naturally when switching between channels for a truly fluid performance. If you want to add extra pedals and/or rack effects, you can make use of the amp's switchable External FX.
Set in series and at instrument level, this send and return system is suitable for both guitar and professional units alike. Also present in the MG101FX amp is Marshall's custom power-amp damping circuitry. Switch effortlessly between the feel of a classic power amp, with the emphasis on middle, and that of boosted speaker resonance in both bass and treble frequency ranges, magnifying the response and projection of your tone. All the above are switchable via the front panel and/or the included programmable MG Footcontroller, affording you complete control.
You'll also find that the Headphone socket on this top-tier Marshall MG doubles as a very handy Line Out, ideal for sending your jaw-dropping solos to any external unit you wish”a computer, digital recorder, or PA system, for example. As with the use of headphones, the amp's speaker is muted, allowing for silent recording. Output can then be directly monitored from the external equipment being used.

I purchased this amp looking for something with a little more power than my old and small line 6 amp. This was on sale and I believed it would be a better bargain. Then I was more naive as a musician and made a poor choice, but after having this amp for a while, it's overall decent but the dirty channels are very weak and sometimes it doesn't cut through other instruments very well. I always use a distortion pedal to get my tone and even with that the amp still doesn't cut through very well. The Fender Frontman I had also considered buying would've been a much wiser choice. It's less expensive, and has an overall better tone.
I have no clue why everyone hates these amps, mine sounds amazing. great tone and good features, fairly easy to use. ive used it for about a year and half and it has never let me down. deffinately loud enough for almost any mid size gig maby more. one thing is its kinda heavy but thats my only problem with it overall amazing amp
this is a great amp because the clean effect is clear there arent any hisses like other amps the distortion is great but you do have to crak it up. it is loud so e carful when playing in side.
This amp is amazing! I switched a Line 6 Spider IV for this amp and at first I thought that it was a waste of a Line 6. After a while, I began messing with the settings and actually got a pretty good sound that I can compare to a classic Metallica tone. I use a Jackson DKXT and now I feel that this amp is very good for both gigging and playing at home, but it does need to be turned up quite a bit in order to get the full sound of the amp.
