Now you can get Marshall's MG4 Series MG100HFXRS amp head and MG412ARS cab together in one hot half-stack with striking red exterior.

Marshall MG100HFX Head

The Marshall MG100HFX amp head packs fully analog tone circuits, providing the distinctive Marshall tone and pure organic flexibility. Using digitally controlled analog functions, the MG4 Series MG100HFX also delivers precise control and superb flexibility without masking your guitar's own sound or making your tone sound processed and artificial.

The Marshall MG100HFX head also features a frequency-dependent damping circuit. This circuit ensures that the sound reproduces the same interaction between amplifier and speaker that occurs in professional valve amplification, making the MG100HFX amplifier sound and feel alive.

A two-button footswitch is included, but with a Stompware 4-button footcontroller (sold separately), you can easily store and recall your favorite settings, playing seamlessly through your music in true professional style.

You know, you really just can not beat that authentic Marshall tone! I recently purchased the MG100HFXRS and I have to say it is way above my expectations and Im very pleased with it. It does more than I need it to and for its size, it packs a mean punch! It"s sound is unbelievable! If you like Marshall, you'll love this amp! Theres nothing difficult about it, and it can be used by a beginner or an experienced player. Im very happy with this product.

i have used this amp for a year.ibought my mg half stack in decmber of 2008,in july of 2009,guitar center had to replace the head,it just quit working,i could not even get any static out of it,it was just dead.me and my drummer buddy invited a new guitarist to jam with us,he showed up with a crate twin 12 120 watt combo amp and just melted my mg,i was embarrassed.the mighy marshall half stack drowned out by a combo.the main problem with this amp is volume.the amps sound and tone start to muddy and break up around the half way point on the volume knob.my marshall mg half stack is going up for sale,so i can get a crate or peavy.

good for the money

By anonomys

Comments about Marshall MG4 Series MG100HFXRS and MG412ARS Half Stack:

I played this amp a few days ago at guitar center. Its pretty good. It gets a little fuzzy when you play with heavy distortion. The clean chanel was ok to. For the money its good, especialy if you want a marshall. I wouldnt suggest a peavy valveking 212 for the same money. ITs a tube amp with impecible tone and power. All in all though, this amp is farly priced for a marshall and it looks awsome, especially in red. Only con is its a solid state head and for the same money you can get a tube amp from peavy or somebody else.

Great Half Stack!!!!!

By Ethan B.

from New Jersey

Comments about Marshall MG4 Series MG100HFXRS and MG412ARS Half Stack:

I recently bought this stack from Guitar Center, and I was blown away. The tone that comes out is unbeleivable. The 4 channels(clean, crunch, overdrive 1, and overdrive 2) all have great sound especially with the damping. I play a Gibson Les Paul Studio through it and it sounds great! The damping button on it makes the tone thicker and it resembles a tube amp. You can also program your own settings! All and all you should get this amp if you don't have the money for a tube stack but still want amazing tone!!!!!!!!!! Also, guitar center is the only store that sells these!

Great for Solid State

By Chance

from Charleston, SC

Comments about Marshall MG4 Series MG100HFXRS and MG412ARS Half Stack:

I'm impressed. I've owned last year's purple model since it came out new, and I just got the red one for home use so I can take the purple one gigging without having to lug it all around. I've been using marshall tube amps and a Peavey JSX for some time, and bought these for their durability and longevity. What impressed me is that I lost very little sound for the switch to solid state. I'll probably continue to buy every year's color until they stop making it, which in my opinion would be a mistake on Marshall's part, since they're attractive, sound good, and are super affordable.

AMAZINGLY AMAZING!!!

Comments about Marshall MG4 Series MG100HFXRS and MG412ARS Half Stack:

I recently bought this amp, and at first i didn't know if this could really handle the style of music i played, but when i got home and turned it on, WOW! For the price of this amp, its a real bargain and really worth every penny. The only thing that I would see as a downfall is people that use this amp without pedal won't be getting the full feel and usage out of this amp. Overall, this amp is just amazing and i cant wait to try it out on stage!

Great, versitale stack

By Josh Conlee

from Kenosha, WI

Comments about Marshall MG4 Series MG100HFXRS and MG412ARS Half Stack:

I recieved this amp as a gift, and let me say, the tones are amazing alone, warm, crunchy overdrive and great cleans. The built in effects really add to the amp as well. But once I plugged this in through my Rane equalizer and Pod XT Live....The distortion was amazing, perfect for what I'm looking to play (anything in between hard rock and deathcore) and the cleans were given that extra little punch that every guitarist wants. For a decently priced half stack, I would recommend this to anyone.

Solid

By RD

Comments about Marshall MG4 Series MG100HFXRS and MG412ARS Half Stack:

this half stack is worth it, the 4 channels are pretty good nice tone through out all five does get a little noisy when trying to play any kind of thrash or metal. but for any other kind of music it's really good. the reverb is really what i like the best that and the little effects, but the delay sucks though, can't really control it but oh well. overall good amp.

Good Stack But...

By SP

from OK

Comments about Marshall MG4 Series MG100HFXRS and MG412ARS Half Stack:

I really like it because it's a Marshall and it looks awsome. But, after a couple of weeks, I couldn't save anything on the channels and no sound would come out when I had the master volume between 3 and 5. Other than that, the sound on it is amazing even though i have a squier tele
