I must admit it has been almost 20 years since I picked up a guitar or played through a quality amp. Recently I started up again and after a week of playing through a junk 15w Squire practice amp I had enough of the feedback and noise so decided the only way to go was with Marshall as I did 20 years ago but was unfamiliar with many of the recent amps on the market. After about 2 weeks of research and watching You Tube videos, speaking with friends, and reading reviews, I decided to go with the Marshal 100w MGFX100 Head and Marshall MG Series MG412CF 4x12 Carbon Fiber Guitar Speaker Cabinet with the Slant and then a week later purchased the Carbon Fiber Straight cab. Needless to say I was blown away by the sound and power of the full stack. I dig the sound of the Celestion Speakers and this amp really packs power and sound just like the Marshall Tube Amps. I've been jamming up to 6 hours or more a day getting my skills back and am ready to get back out into the field. Only overall issue is the cabinets during shipping. The cabs need to be better packed and protected during shipping. The head was packed well but the cabs limited protection in the rear and front areas and when mine came there was some minor damage to two spots that were noticeable but not a giant issue and I did not pursue it. If the packing issue can be rectified that would be great. 5 stars!

I have had this for about a month and love it, running a Micro terror through it so big sound for small coin. Marshall needs to make sure of what they put their name on though if they want to keep their reputation, when I first plugged in... nothing, kept checking connections and switching cables till I finally pulled the back cover of speaker where the jack is and there it was a solder connection to jack that was so poor it looked a 5 year old did it, no signal getting through, so Marshall...work on the quality checks or train the 5 year olds better.

Comments about Marshall MG Series MG412CF 4x12 Guitar Speaker Cabinet:

Don't let the heavy comment make you think it is a bad thing. That would be what you should expect from a 4 12" speaker cabinet. I added this to make a full stack and the addition of this cabinet upped the volume by 3 times at least. I'm using the MG 100 series head on this but still would be fine for playing out and would put it up against many other much more expensive amps/speakers. Next addition will be a tube head in time.

Comments about Marshall MG Series MG412CF 4x12 Guitar Speaker Cabinet:

Having already purchased the top/slanted cabinet, I purchased this to complete the stack. I'm not a professional musician, but in a band that does gig once in a while. I've seen good ratings as well as bad for this series, but for the money, it has done everything I need and more. Our drummer plays with a DDrum setup, and I have no issues keeping up with him volume-wise. Since I do not make my living playing music, I can't afford a $2000 rig, and the MG head with these cabinets has proven to be a very reliable and great sounding setup for a reasonable price.

Comments about Marshall MG Series MG412CF 4x12 Guitar Speaker Cabinet:

Got this thing at the Central Dallas location, it was a showroom floor model but still looked nice and plays great (got the amp at a pawn shop, also great value!). Sounds great with the Celestion Marshall voiced speakers, rich sound, VERY powerful, great looks, AND an awesome deal (they gave me 10% off for it being a showroom model). been playing it a good bit of the day (the date I post this) and can't find anything to frown upon.

Would consider getting another one to make a full stack.

Comments about Marshall MG Series MG412CF 4x12 Guitar Speaker Cabinet:

I have purchased 2 stacks. Being an engineer, I took them apart and added the classic white trim
beading. Built very well and straight forward.
The speakers are true Celestion. Resonance is fabulous. Reliable, durable and just the right
evolution to the heritage. I power them with the
        MG100HDFX heads, perfect.

        Amazing

        By JOSEPH LINK

        from Fayetteville North Carolina

Comments about Marshall MG Series MG412CF 4x12 Guitar Speaker Cabinet:

The cabinet with the matching head is amazing. It will put out. It can definitely go over the drummer in your band. See I play metal and you can get a bit of the tone you need with the overdrive but I'm going to buy a distortion pedal for it. Just to give it more punch. You'll be amazed at the tone it's no tubed marshall but you know that. Worth way more the it is. Oh yeah and the reverb is beautiful.
