Like it a lot except for one small problem.

Comments about Marshall MG Series MG102CFX 100W 2x12 Guitar Combo Amp:

The amp works and sounds great except for one small problem. When playing lower notes on the E and A string the lower section of the amplifier rattles. I made a temp solution by cramming a sock between the amp and speaker section to make sure that was were the noise was coming from.(Yes, I did remove the sock afterward.) Not sure what the solution is but I'll keep at it. It's annoying. I'm thrilled otherwise. clark

Amazing

Comments about Marshall MG Series MG102CFX 100W 2x12 Guitar Combo Amp:

I recently purchased this because I have been wanting a new amp. I love playing Marshall's, and this one is beautiful. I Have two Dave Mustaine Dean V's, one tuned to E and the other to D and this amp brings the best out of both of them. I am still playing with some of the settings with it. The buying factor to me was the decent prince and the fact that it came with a foot switch. I would recommend this amp to everyone.

Marshall and Les Paul

By M B

Comments about Marshall MG Series MG102CFX 100W 2x12 Guitar Combo Amp:

I just bought my Marshall MG102CFX and I love it. I have a Gibson Les Paul Traditional and an Epiphone Les Paul Ultra III and the sounds coming out of these guitars through this amplifier are incredible. Marshall and Les Paul there is nothing else like it. I only wish I lived in a place where I could crank up the volume without pissing off my neighbors.

Exceeds expectations

By Dave Poush

from Leon IA

Comments about Marshall MG Series MG102CFX 100W 2x12 Guitar Combo Amp:

Upgraded my amp to go with my first Gibson. Ordered a "blemished" (that I've yet to find the "blemish"). Got it on a promo 15% off. To be accurate: this is the first time I've owned quality equipment over cheap beginner's guitars and amps, and I'm only a novice. But the sound and quality is far better than I expected. Turns out I play better than I thought! I've only just begun to learn how to use all the effects. My opinion, fantastic amp for the money!

Comments about Marshall MG Series MG102CFX 100W 2x12 Guitar Combo Amp:

I bought this to be my primary amp for live gigs and my home recording studio. I have owned and played thru dozens of amps over the years, from tube fenders, marshalls, peavys. This is NOT a tube amp. HOWEVER, it sounds VERY similar to tubes. I needed a LOUD, clean/crunchy/overdriving bad-axxxxsss amp and this is it. Sure its made in asia, just like my mustang III, but so far is has held well with no issues. The 4 channels are are storable, with 2 clean/crunchy channels are overthetop crisp, clean, bright, brilliant tones. No humming or hissing. The 2 overdrive channels play anything from zz top to metallica. Sustain, yes, long and clear. For my metal songs, I bought a Boss MT 2 metal zone pedal for this which completes this amp for anything from ozzy, zepplin to metallica. I highly recommend that you go try this amp out at your GC, play a couple different guitars thru it, a stat, gibson, ibanez, to really hear the sound. Why did I not buy a high-end marshall tube amp? I didn't want to bother with tube maintenance/replacement any more, been there. I've had tubes crack on me from moving amps to our gigs/rehearsals. Sure, nothing sounds like tubes, but these latest generation of solid state amps are really quality. This is now my main amp. I use other pedals too of course, and this has the FX send/return jacks on the back, a necessity for any pedal board setup. I also bought the Marshall optional mg4 - 4 button stomp foot-switch, which is needed for this and well worth the extra money. These two 12's speakers have incredible sustain and the 100 watts is LOUD, and this easily handles larger clubs. This is a sturdy closed-back cabinet, yes its heavy, 50 pounds, so consider that too for gigs. Also there is no usb jack, but I mic through my home mixer. I highly recommend this baby, but please go test it out before making your decision, because this is NOT an in-expensive amp, but it is half of what you will pay for a marshall stack tube amp, so its a trade-off. LOVE it.

Comments about Marshall MG Series MG102CFX 100W 2x12 Guitar Combo Amp:

This is a great amp. It looks really good and has a lot of quality as you can tell by the case and knobs are not junk. This piece came in a well padded shipping box so it was perfect and there was no damage. It also has great sound and lots of adjustment. Really nice foot pedal too. I use this in my home only for now. Has plenty of power.
