Worth the premium!

By BOB HALL

from sherwood, oregon

Comments about Marshall MB15 Bass Combo Amp:

The Marshall MB B15 is worth the premium charged. It is built better then my old Fender or Kustom baby amps and sounds very much like my MB 4210 in tone quality. The construction is extremely tight. I think I am playing with a much more expensive amp when I am just jamming in my living room. Do not buy 3 or 4 other baby amps then try the Marshall-just try this first so you don?t waste time. I strongly recommend any Marshall and this is certainly no exception!

ROCKS!!!

By Benjamin Gorospe

from Chula Vista, CA

Comments about Marshall MB15 Bass Combo Amp:

This amp rocks! It's pretty loud for a practice amp. I use it with a Ibanez 4 string and I can rock the whole house and my neighbors too. That's why I only turn up the volume halfway so my neighbors won't call the cops. I like that you can switcj it to either classic or modern sounding bass, but i mainly use the classic sound coz I'm old school. If you need a practice amp at a nice price, this one is a great choice. It also has headphone input and cd input so you can practice without disturbing anyone.

Why I love this amp

By greg dean(spike)

from golden isles, ga

Comments about Marshall MB15 Bass Combo Amp:

i have 2 main basses i travel with, epiphone viola and fender american precision. my 2 year old fender bassman 150 faded out on stage recently and i had to plug direct into the main mixer board for the rest of the gig with no monitor. went searching next morning for compact amp with a line out to go to the board, not an easy feat. got a fender 75W rumble that sounded good in the store. same kickback as bassman, but half the price. got it home, tried it and hated it. Back to GC Monday am. ended up with this amp. was unimpressed as a stand alone, then plugged it into the main mixer board. wow what a great full sound. can not hear it on stage as a monitor though. wished i had bought the 30W instead of 15W but by the time you add amp and stand, extended ̴_ cable, etc I should have just bought another bassman, the best stage amp I ever had.

Mike Tyson's amp!

By kyle

from stanley, NC

Comments about Marshall MB15 Bass Combo Amp:

If Mike Tyson played bass he would use this amp cause it's a knockout. Just kiddin, it's a really good amp though. As i've gotten better with my 5 string Peavey Grind i realized how good this is. With the bass at 10, voice at 5 , treble at 6, and compression you can play anything. I use my neck pu mostly and you can do smooth lines or do a 3 string pop sweep and it doesn't sound like a bomb in a pop rocks factory. Just like what Gene Simmons say's about Dr. Pepper, this amp is "Amazingly Smooth".

Great Practice Amp!

By RNH in Seattle

from Seattle

Comments about Marshall MB15 Bass Combo Amp:

I just started playing bass and wanted an amp that wouldn't break the bank or make my Ibanez EDB 600 sound like something purchased from Target. The classic and modern options are really great and I love the compression option when switching to modern. The EQ is pretty cool, however, being new, I'm not sure how to use it..yet! It's loud enough for my purposes, and I use a boss overdrive pedal with it and the combo is working out very well. I'd definitely recommend this as a practice amp.

Powerful in a difernet way

By Go Marshall

from Philly

Comments about Marshall MB15 Bass Combo Amp:

This amp may not be that powerful by its self but it has a line out jack so you could hook it up to a PA system and make yourself go def. So if you see an amp with a line out jack it can be powerful trust me!!!
