Overview

The Marshall JVM410HCF 100W Tube Guitar Amp Head is one of the most comprehensive all-valve amplifier heads on the market. The JVM series delivers sophisticated functionality in a refined format. Hand built with pride and meticulous testing in Marshall's world famous British factory, the Marshall JVM410 amp head comes with a variety of voicing options to suit every guitarist.

For the player that wants superior quality for the price, Marshall has perfected this balance to a science. The guitar amp head's two channels offer uniquely defined sonic accents as well as effects loop options and MIDI control, which allows you to control a switch setting in a preset to come back to. The clean/crunch channel moves from crystal clarity to a forceful crunch for heavy blues and rock applications. This head does not overwhelm you with technical mechanics. The sound is all Marshall, a powerhouse of heavy six-string shredding.

Multiple, all-valve accents provide an amazing array of tones which are accessible from the front-panel switches, MIDI or via the revolutionary technology of the supplied footswitch. A breakthrough in amplification, the Marshall JVM series offers a powerstage built on the peerless EL34 designs responsible for the legendary Marshall roar.

Everything you need plus....

By Ducharme Iven

Comments about Marshall JVM Series JVM410HCF 100W Tube Guitar Amp Head:

I have owned this amp for over a year and I have only discovered one problem with it. It is so versatile and capable of producing so many tones that if you are a person who chases tone it will drive you nuts. Bounce through the channels and twist a few knobs and every tone you have ever heard or envied is there. Program the foot pedal and bang, you are in business. Then after a few months change it all up again....tone chasers beware.....

Very good amp

Comments about Marshall JVM Series JVM410HCF 100W Tube Guitar Amp Head:

This amp has everything you could ever want if you're more into modern music and more high gain distortion. It's difficult to get a more vintage sounding tone from it which is what i wanted, but it gets fairly close. With all the options and channels, it's easy to get a very wide variety of sounds from this amp, and it has very smooth playability, unfortunately, for all it does, to me, it's slightly lacking in tone. I own a Marshall Vintage Modern which is the perfect amp for my style, but I would still reccommend this amp to anyone, I just suggest trying out more, there are better amps out there.

Marshall is Back...

By Steve

from NJ

Comments about Marshall JVM Series JVM410HCF 100W Tube Guitar Amp Head:

This amp put Marshall back on the map, easily making it their best amp produced over the past 15 years. There's endless versatility and flexibility to be had, along with more than enough gain to satisfy a metalhead. Your usual Marshall (800, 900, and 2000's) need to be cranked to really give that Marshall sound, but this is where the JVM shines. The JVM sounds massive at any volume level and doesn't need to be cranked to reach that Marshall sound many musicians are after. This amp does have digital reverb, but it still sounds great. The midi capabilities are a huge plus for any touring musician.

Jvm 410H

By Michael

from Escondido, Ca

Comments about Marshall JVM Series JVM410HCF 100W Tube Guitar Amp Head:

This amp is AWESOME. I have tried a BUNCH of amps from the Mesa Mark IV...Carvin X100b...Mesa Dual Rec...Triple Rec....and a bunch of other Marshalls THIS ONE ROCKS 'EM ALL!! I wanted a Amp with the Clean of the X100B But with the capabilities of getting as raw as the Mark IV. This One kills 'EM both. PLUS it's MIDI switching compatible!!! The Mark IV seems to blend into the mix....more like get lost sometimes. This amp will go from sparkling cleans..to Plexi...to in your FACE distortion. AND...it has that famous Marshall midrange that cuts through the mix without being to harsh. If you've been looking for a do it all amp....GOOD LUCK...but this one comes pretty darn close. take it from me I've be a professional musician for almost 30 years . I'm also a soundman/Engineer and this amp will give you years of killer tone!!!!

The best Marshall to date

By Arta

from Bellevue, WA

Comments about Marshall JVM Series JVM410HCF 100W Tube Guitar Amp Head:

Guitar Center is in no shortage of high-end tube amps, but this one is definitely the best. Everyone has varying tastes in tone, but this amp can meet any demand. The cleans are the cleanest of any Marshall, since the "green" on the clean channel is wired to only the master volume, creating an essentially gain-free set up based on simplicity. The crunch sounds are thick and beefy, while retaining incredible clarity. OD1 is voiced much like a JCM 800, including stock tones to modded ones, giving any rocker or metalhead the growl they need. OD2 is my personal favorite, the mid frequencies are set lower than most Marshalls, giving this channel a searing high-gain, low-mid modern roar that can't be beat. This amp has ridiculous amounts of gain, setting the knob at half will get a sound that is sizzling and crushing for powerful rhythms and leads. All in all, this amp has more features than any one guitarist could need, while delivering the absolute best tone. I've played live and recorded with mine, and I can't count the number of compliments I've gotten. My friend has the same setup as me, and even though he's been spending much more time with the cleaner channels, he still hasn't found any other amp that is even close to matching the JVM's tone. The JVM has an incredible value since it saves buyers from needing different amps and pedals. Get all of the power, tone and versatility you need with this amp.
