  • Best small amp on the market

    I'm using it with a Gibson SG Special for recording and I'd have to say it's better than any other product I've used. A friend recommended a similar Line 6 amp and I'd never use anything but Marshall after this. It's a serious amp with serious tone. Just tune it to the lower overdrive channel, crank up the delay and reverb, then you've got that Eric Johnson tone! It's simply amazing.

  • Great for a Gritty Blues tone

    I've had this amp for about 6 months now and I got the footswitch also. I've played a Strat on it and an SG and I'll tell you, This amp continues to amaze me. Mainly I just practice at home without a band, although, I do use jamtracks on my computer. I have been thinking of getting a Tube Amp, but for the price of a lower end tube amp, This Marshall sounds as good if not better than some of the examples I have heard. I think I will keep saving my money for a better quality tube amp and maybe buy a good tube pedal, Like the Twintube blue in the meantime. After owning this for 6 months I feel like I'm still getting to know it, and because it's Solid State, I haven't had ANY problems with it. This is one GREAT at home practice amp.

  • Great Stuff in a Small Package

    This amp is the amp, for its size. For its 8 in. speaker, its pretty loud. And all the effects are great. The clean channel is great because it gives you enough crunch to play some Zeppelin. Its overdrive channel gives you enough power to play some Metallica or Panterra. Overall, it has everything. So if your a person in a budget or person that wants a powerful great practice amp, this is for you.
