Product Information

Affordable Marshall tone in a gig-worthy rig.

The Marshall MG100HFX amp head combines 100W of raw Marshall power with the versatility of 4 storable, footswitchable channels. You also get digital effects including: reverb, chorus, flanger, phaser, and delay.

MG100HFX Amplifier Head
The MG100HFX amp head packs fully analog tone circuits, providing the distinctive Marshall tone and pure organic flexibility. Using digitally controlled analog functions, the MG4 Series MG100HFX also delivers precise control and superb flexibility without masking your guitar's own sound or making your tone sound processed and artificial.

The Marshall MG100HFX head also features a frequency-dependent damping circuit. This circuit ensures that the sound reproduces the same interaction between amplifier and speaker that occurs in professional valve amplification, making the MG100HFX amplifier sound and feel alive.

A 2-button footswitch is included, but with a Stompware 4-button footcontroller (not included), you can easily store and recall your favorite settings, playing seamlessly through your music in true professional style.

MG412 Speaker Cabinet:
The 8-ohm, 120W MG412 speaker cab is loaded with 4 x 12" custom-voiced Marshall/Celestion speakers that really crank out that authentic Marshall tone. Choose angled (MG412A) or straight (MG412B). It's designed for maximum road-readiness with reinforced corners and recessed and side bar handles.

With our Guaranteed Lowest Price, you can be assured of complete satisfaction and the lowest available price, or your money back!

This is digital???

What can I say other than this half-stack rocks...the HARD way! I play an American Std Tele through it and it plays razor sharp in both the clean channel and distortion channel. The frequency dependent damping does actually perform just like a valve amp. It's classic Marshall in tone and in volume. I play in a country band and was laughed at when I first showed up at a gig with it, things like "C'mon this is a cheap ass's amplifier". That is, until I cranked it and proceeded to blow them away in typical Marshall fashion. Being a digital amp, the built-in effects are a little touchy on the knobs and takes a little time to get used to dialing in what you want, but after that, no problem. Also, it's lighter weight (but not in quality) is great for traveling from gig to gig and being digital, I never have to worry about tubes jarring loose. An Ovation Custom Legend even sounds good without any distortion and provides a great rounded out sound...from bright to a crisp bottom end.

goody

I just got this amp and so far I love it! The low ends sound great and don't distort when I turn the amp up loud. The clean channel is great, good tone and clear. Even though i don't use the effects, I have my own, I think they sound good and are nice to have. It worked(s) great on stage, plenty loud and has a nice tone. Great amp for the price.

Get it!!!

Wither your a intermediate player, or advanced player this amp is for you. If your like me you'll find the clean to be just what you need, and all those built in effects just add to the greatness. If you want that sweet mind altering metal sound I would recommend getting a distortion pedal. Although the overdrive on the amp is great it just doesn't give me the sound I crave. But i hooked it up with my mxr dd-11 which is just the most amazing distortion pedal I've owned. The sound i got with it is just out of this world. This amp is not for everyone though, if your a beginner, remember that this is 100!!!!! watts, but hey as long as it has the words Marshall on it.. Go For It!!

AWESOME!!

This stack is great. the first day that i had the chance to jam out with it, i was in shock because the price was totally affordable and it's not as heavy as other stacks (and for me, that is very convenient). so i highly recommend this amp.
