  • Marshall Madness

As reviewed by David Wigglesworth on 11/21/2011

I sat down today with my buddy in Guitar Center. I was tired of playing all day through small 15 watt amps and moved over to the stacks where I stumbled upon this head on top of a Marshall cabinet. I was completely blown away! When playing with distortion, it was plenty crunchy. I can only imagine how great it sounds with the volume turned all the way up. The tone features classic Marshall versatility. You could get a variety of tones out of this beast especially when playing clean. However some of the effects come off as touchy. The reverb is good, but I feel the other effects could've been more defined and less sensitive. Other than that, this buddy is a great head that won't break the bank.

  • Amazing stack

As reviewed by dan trist on 12/31/2012

This is my first stack, and let me say, it's just about the best amp I've ever payed my hands on. I've got the head and matching slant cab which goes together like doughnuts and coffee. It's features include four channels, one clean, crunch, and two different overdrive channels. I can't name all of the generas you can play, but for example, jazz, blues, country, blues rock, soft rock, rock, hard rock, metal, heavy metal, thrash metal, death metal, and melodic death metal, oh and speed metal. Whatever you do, just don't listen to the haters, they find small problems, and make them seem like the amp is a compleat wreck. But it's really a great amp for the price, and is perfect for all styles. I'd recommend getting ear plugs so you don't blow out your ears, and keep in mind, it's a screaming 100watt amp:)

  • Great Amp

As reviewed by Elliott Mazur on 11/30/2012

Extremely impressed! This is a good amp for a low price. This is a big upgrade from my old VOX DA15 which doesn't even compare to this. This amp has all the controls needed to create a great sound. This amp also has six built in effects (Chorus, Phaser, Flanger, Vibe, Delay, and Octave). All of that for an amazing price. I highly recommend this amp!
