  • Great Practice Amp

As reviewed by J.L.M. on 11/3/2008

This amp is great for the money. Amazingly loud for 30 Watts. Great tone possibilities on both channels. Seems solidly built and just very nice all around. This amp has me seriously considering Marshall for my live rig as well; I just love the tonal range. I'm a very discerning consumer and I couldn't be more pleased with this purchase. Start looking into the Marshall Bass equipment if you haven't already.

  • Marshall Never Lets You Down!!!

As reviewed by Devin on 11/4/2010

I got this for my birthday to replace a cheap Behringer Practice Amp that I got over a year ago. Not only is it so much louder than that amp, it has such an awesome warm tone to it in the Modern Channel. The Classic Channel has a sweet Gain Control that gives you either a little hint of Distortion for a little growl or full on, in your face Distortion. I've used it in gigs a few times. In indoor gigs, I barely have it on halfway and I still hear myself, but outside I gotta crank it up to 10 since everyone else tries to drown me out. The Voice Knob is a cool addition, but the changes are a little subtle, and it's a little heavy for it's size, but other than that awesome amp for the money.

  • Not quite powerful enough to play with a band

As reviewed by Natertot on 8/23/2011

I bought this used about four months ago and it still works great. It has plenty of different tones (if you crank up the gain, you can sound like steeve harris from Iron Maiden). Great for practice by your self, but if you want to play in a band, it's just not quite loud enough. But other than that, it's plenty loud to play by yourself.
