In a nutshell, the Marshall all-valve, 2-channel JVM215C is a 2-channel, 50W version of the most versatile Marshall amplifier ever made, the JVM410C. Each of its 2 channels are completely independent of each other, and they boast 3 Modes, all 6 of which are footswitchable and feature their own unique gain structure. It makes the JVM 2-channel effectively 6 Marshalls in one!
The JVM215C has studio-quality digital reverb with a level control for each channel. This is also footswitchable, as are the amp's two Master Volume controls and the Series/Parallel effects loop. Resonance and Presence are equipped with master controls.
An ingenious footswitch (UK patent pending) and the fact all the amp's switching (channel/modes, Reverb, Master Volume selection, FX loop) can be done via MIDI and you're looking at an incredibly flexible amp! The 4-way footswitch boasts LEDs and memory, plus it connects to the amp via a regular guitar cable.

This is a great little combo for anyone wanting great Marshall sound in a small and versatile package. I play this amp live in conjunction with it's XLR line out. The master volume is great for getting the exact output I need on stage and the sound guys love it because I can cut the speaker via the standbye switch and the amp still sends a signal to the PA for them to control. Perfect for any venue and at home too!
There is plenty of gain is this amp, but it has excellent lower gain dynamics as well. The reverb is excellent, better than on most marshalls. The various channel switching options are some what confusing. It is a plug and play amp, except if you feel like customizing the channel switching options. This amp rips and offers some fantastic rock tones from the 70's on up, but it may not be for everyone as the options can be somewhat overwhelming.
This amp slays. It has a beautiful sparkling clean that can be pushed into blues and beyond. I like the clean as well as my Fender blues deluxe and that is saying something for a Marshall. The overdrives are classic all the way to metal with a great JCM 800 sound and a modded 800 that crushes my TSL. What is amazing about this amp is you can take the entire master section out of the tube path and the amp sounds so open and vintage it is a beautiful thing. This amp should win every award ever given to a tube amp as I have been playing for 30 years and this is the tone of the best Marshalls ever made. Put a delay in front and there is nothing this amp cannot play and play well...
