Classic tube tone through a classic cab from the days of huge guitar!

The all-valve JCM800 2203 is one of the most highly respected 100W Marshall heads in the company's long history. Evolving from the legendary Plexi head, it was one of the first Marshall amps to feature a master volume control. The essence of simplicity, the JCM800 is a one-channel, all-valve amp with no reverb or effects. Its easy control panel, distinctive roar, and larger-than-life edge immediately set the standard by which all other rock amps were judged and it remained the industry benchmark throughout the entire 16 years of its production life. Now it's back by popular demand and just like the 1959SLP and 1987X it has a Series Effects Loop with true bypass that takes the loop completely out of the circuit ensuring the original tone isn't compromised in any shape or form.

The Marshall 1960V Vintage Speaker Cabinet puts out beautiful tone at any volume. The addition of an impedance (4- or 16- ohm) mono/stereo switching mechanism has transformed the "industry standard" 1960 into the ultimate speaker cab. This 280W Marshall cab is loaded with G12 Vintage 70 watt speakers.

  • Magical pair!!

As reviewed by Guillermo on 7/9/2015

Recently brought a used JCM800 at GC in LA, I have had (many) Marshalls since 1990,a 1959 Plexi,a JCM800,a JCM900, and others, but I used to sold them in order to get the newer model. Now I'm very happy,I can say I recovered the best of it all, the "Holly Grail" of amps. I tried it with my son at the store with a 1960AV cabinet and we were delighted with the tone and superb distortion this pair produces. But back in my House in GDL M?xico I tried it up with a 1960TV cabinet and a full 1960AX and 1960BX stack, but my ears told me something was mising, and yes,It was "that cabinet", so I managed to get one here, and I found it, now "the magic is back" this is the perfect fit,I can hear again the sounds I've Heard back in time that made me want to play an electric guitar: Hendrix, Cream, Black Sabbath; Thank you "Father of loud" and GC.
